Our Story

“Đất Nước” literally means “earth water". But in Vietnamese culture it carries the deeper meaning of homeland, ancestry, memory, and belonging. It reflects the sacred relationship between people, nature, and the generations who came before us. More than a nation, “Đất Nước” is the feeling of returning home to the land that shaped your spirit. Earth Water farm began as a return home.
After generations of rice farming in Tây Ninh, our family carries a history shaped by war, colonisation, displacement, resilience, and survival. This land was once marked by hardship — including a former bomb crater — is now being restored through care, regeneration, and love.

Today, Earth Water grows pesticide-free award winning Vietnamese varietal ST25 rice, in harmony with the ecosystem, honouring both traditional wisdom and a vision for a more conscious future.

But Earth Water is more than rice. It is a place to slow down, gather, and come home — to the land, to community, to our lineage and to ourselves. Through our farmstay, foraging, shared meals, and regenerative practices, we hope to create experiences that nourish not only the body, but also memory, spirit, and belonging.
